Introduction
In scenarify, sewer networks are configured using shape files that represent various sewer components, each with relevant parameters defined as attributes. The corresponding settings categories are located in the Simulation Settings Panel under Sewer Nodes, Sewer Links, and Sewers. These settings are meant to be configured in a top-down order. In each category, start by selecting the appropriate shape file and specifying the attribute names for the relevant parameters. Afterwards, review the additional settings below and adjust any of them if necessary.
Hint: Inline tooltips are available to provide guidance on each attribute and the most important settings.
Tutorials
We provide two step-by-step setup tutorials based on example data from an open dataset for Bellinge (Denmark), which is publicly available online and was originally published as part of a case study:
Pedersen, Pedersen, Vigueras-Rodriguez, Brink-Kjær, Borup, and Mikkelsen, 2021,
Dataset for Bellinge: An urban drainage case study: Technical University of Denmark,
doi:10.11583/DTU.c.5029124.v1
The first tutorial uses a dataset derived from the SWMM model of the case study domain, while the second tutorial is based on a dataset generated from a MIKE URBAN model of the same domain. We recommend to study the first tutorial before proceding with the second one.
