Creation Mode: Draw Polygon on Terrain

Purpose and Effect: Allows users to define polygonal zones that specify the valid area for the simulation, with all cells outside these zones automatically invalidated. Interfaces between valid and invalid cells are handled using Free Outflow Boundary Conditions. This is particularly useful when only certain parts of the rectangular domain are relevant. The main purpose of this action is to create simulation domains with polygonal shapes or multiple disconnected regions.

To analyze the impact of the valid zone, users can enable the visual mapping of cell validities onto the terrain through the Visualization Settings Panel.
